Based on a Milanese helmet of a style popular throughout Europe.
With it's characteristic bullet shaped skull.
Also known as a pig faced bascinet.
Hand beaten in two halves from 14 gauge (2mm) steel
Then welded and given a satin finish.
The visor is of 14 gauge (2mm) steel.
An authentic linen liner is sewn into the helmet
and
a leather strap and period buckle fitted.
